1+1=...

Here's a family math problem I'd love to have hanging in my house! This NY loft highlighted in, Martha, oozes of great design elements (ie. the wallpaper!!!). The family SILHOUETTE portrait, framed above the red couch, is my favorite. Here is the original post...thanks Joanna!

Here is the silhouette portrait...up close.

If you'd like to make one of these genius portraits, it's pretty simple:
1) Just take a photo of yourself & each family member in profile.
2) Cut them out carefully.
3) Then trace around each onto a piece of black construction paper. Voila! You have silhouette portraits in a few easy steps.
4) To frame...spray mount each silhouette onto a piece of canvas paper or good sturdy cotton paper. Be sure the paper is sized to fit in a frame of your choice.
There you go! An original piece of art!
